As a non for profit organization, KRF needs your help. This is a brand new entity and we need help in the following areas:

Information Technology (IT)/ Web Development:

We need to improve our site and enhance our membership functionality.

Legal:

On July 21, 2011, KRF appointed Attorney Ronald R. Benjamin of Binghamton, New York as its General Counsel. He will oversee all legal matters that concern operations of KRF.

Medical Writing:

We need to develop several medical documents, brochures, research protocols, research consent forms, etc.

Patient Advocacy:

On July 18, 2011, Mr. Alexander Duggan was appointed to the patient advocacy arm of KRF. We continue to welcome others who would like to collaborate with KRF

Membership Management:

Strength of each organization is dependant on its members. We need to reach out to patients who suffer from keloid, as well as scientist who are interested in conducting research in this disease. As keloid does not recognize geographical borders, our member ship shall be international

Organizing the first Annual Meeting:

KRF plans to have its first Annual Scientific Meeting in late 2012. This meeting will feature lectures, poster presentations, and exhibitions. This is an area of great interest and KRF needs volunteers to make this happen.

Statistical/Data Management Support:

Soul and Heart of research rests in its statistics and analyzing the data. We need to capture and analyze tremendous amount of data.

Physical facility:

KRF does not have a physical home yet. We need to establish a location for the headquarters of KRF in New York City. We hope to find volunteers who can donate a physical location / office space to KRF until KRF is able to raise funds to pay for its physical home.
